Tafsīr al-Tasnīm runs to many volumes, and only a small part of it is in English so far. If you read the original well and write clear English, you can help bring more of Āyatullāh Jawādī Āmulī’s commentary to English readers.

What you can translate

• A chapter of the commentary: the exegesis of a sūrah, or of a passage of verses, not yet on this site.
• A key verse: the commentary on a single verse, like those in Key Verses.
• A theme or concept: the passages of al-Tasnim on a subject, like those in Themes and Concepts.

How it works

1. Tell us what you would like to translate, using the form below. We will let you know whether someone is already working on it, so no effort is wasted.
2. Translate it from the original, keeping the author’s meaning and his references to the Qur’an, the narrations and other sources.
3. Send your translation to Tawheed Institute Australia at [email protected], as a Word document.
4. We check it against the original, edit it for accuracy and for consistency with the rest of the site, and go over any questions with you.
5. We publish it here, with your name as translator.
