Ladun: “Al-ladun” means “with” or “near” and is more specific and expressive than “ʿind”, as it indicates the beginning of an endpoint.(80) Or “al-ladun” meaning a soft, delicate, and flexible branch(81) is not irrelevant. A soft and delicate branch can easily be bent up, down, right and left, and one who reaches the station of “ladunnī” themselves has a soft, flexible heart (qalb ladun); moreover, their heart is in the hand of the Divine Essence, and God nurtures them to grant them divine knowledge (ʿilm ladunnī).(82)(79)
