Selected Exegesis

Regarding Jesus Christ (a.s.), those who went to extremes believed in divine incarnation in him and considered him the son of God, adhering to the trinity, while those who went to the other extreme accused his mother. God, to prevent any form of extremism or minimalism, using the method of best argumentation and based on Christians’ belief in the creation of Adam (a.s.) without parents, states that the creation of Christ (a.s.) is like the creation of Adam (a.s.), whose body He created from dust, then said to him: “Be,” and through divine will (not through words) the intention was immediately realized and he (Adam) came to be; with the difference that Adam (a.s.) did not have a mother either, and was not born from previous humans who lacked intellectual development and responsibility. Therefore, those who have accepted the nature of Adam’s (a.s.) creation should more certainly accept the creation of another divine prophet, Jesus Christ (a.s.).

This analogy is irrefutable and, like other divine knowledge that comes from God, is established and protected from change.
