Selected Exegesis

A group of Jews not only did not accept the miracles and divine signs of Jesus, and accused them of being manifest sorcery, but they also intended to conspire and fight against Jesus. At this time, God made his Disciples (ḥawāriyyīn) understood through divine inspiration (ilhām) that they should renew their covenant with God and His messenger to protect the divine religion and assist His messenger. They accepted and called God as witness(207) that we are Muslims (muslimūn - those who submit) and we obey His commands with heart and soul.
