The Meaning of the Unparalleled Nature of the Punishment for Disbelievers

Some blessings are unparalleled (bī-mānand) and some punishments are also unmatched (bī-naẓīr). The meaning of being unparalleled is not that in terms of quantity and degree they are superior to and more severe than all blessings or punishments, but rather the intention is that their like has not been found and cannot be found, even though it is possible that something more important and more severe than them has been found or may be found.
