Selected Exegesis

The ultimate outcome of placing God alongside His creatures such as Jesus and inclining toward the Trinity is to disbelieve in and deny God, while there is no god other than the One God. Deliberate and conscious belief in the Trinity and not repenting and being unreceptive to the prohibition of this invites divine punishment and eternal ruin. Nevertheless, in the second verse, the path has been left open for these followers of falsehood, and they have been encouraged to repent and heed God’s prohibition.
