Detailed Exegesis
Iḍṭarrahu: Compulsion, a form of unavoidable harm. Sometimes a person can defend themselves against harm, but other times, they face a harm they have no choice but to submit to and endure. A person compelled to submit to harm is called muḍṭarr, meaning they must bear this harm.
Al-maṣīr: Maṣīr differs from masīr. This term, which serves as both an infinitive noun (maṣdar mīmī) and a noun of place (ism makān), means “becoming” or “coming to be” when intended as an infinitive. If intended as a noun of place, it refers to the destination towards which movement leads, while masīr refers to the path itself.
