The Conjunction of Faith in “God” and in “What God Has Revealed”

Faith in “what God has revealed” is a necessary consequence of faith in “God,” because if someone believes in God, they will certainly accept the ruling sent down from Him. On the other hand, “what God has revealed” encompasses both the origin and the return, and includes revelation and prophethood.

The secret behind the precedence and separate mention of faith in God in the noble verse under discussion is the innate nature and sufficiency of the monotheistic disposition, and the lack of need for miracles or similar things in believing in the Glorious God, as well as the importance of this faith, in such a way that it is the beginning of all doctrinal discussions. On this basis, faith in God necessitates faith in everything that has been revealed from Him, and accepting some of what has been revealed or sent while rejecting others is like accepting the principle of the origin but not accepting the ruling issued from it, which leads to contradiction.
