Selected Exegesis

Abraham, as a recommendation which causes attraction, commanded his children to the religion of Islam, which is the chosen religion of God. This recommendation is a recommendation to reason and an invitation to a proven religion and encouragement to investigate; not blind imitation.

In this recommendation, by reminding of death, which is an urgent matter and its time is unknown, it points to the necessity of establishing a stable faith, lest one dies in a state of negligence and without Islam.
