The Criterion for People of the Book in Accepting Prophets

In response to the biased statement of Jews and Christians who said, “Be Jews or Christians, [then] you will be guided”(489), God Almighty instructed the believers to say: “We have believed in God and what was revealed to us … and what was given to the prophets from their Lord. We make no distinction between any of them, and we are Muslims [in submission] to Him.”
